The presentation of a family document (family record book or birth certificate) is recommended in order to facilitate checks. These documents do not constitute proof of identity.

The passenger is advised to contact the sales department before the day of departure, with their loss or theft declaration stamped by the police or gendarmerie.
The loss or theft declaration does not, on its own, constitute proof of identity.
In the event of a recent loss or theft (generally within the past month), the situation may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Air Moana staff. Beyond this period, the passenger must be able to prove that a renewal application has been submitted to the town hall.
