Bora Bora Airport is located on a coral islet at the edge of the lagoon, just a short distance from the main island. It takes a 50-minute flight from Tahiti or about a 20-minute flight from Raiatea to land beside the turquoise lagoon of the Pearl of the Pacific.
Bora Bora Airport (BOB) is located on Motu Mute. With the Air Moana maritime shuttle, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the main village of Vaitape. Many accommodations offer their own shuttle services directly from the airport or from the Vaitape dock. We recommend planning your transfers in advance.
