Identity documents
In accordance with current regulations, all passengers must present a valid identification document at various checkpoints. It is your responsibility to verify the compliance and validity of your identification documents. In the event of non-presentation or non-compliance, Air Moana reserves the right to deny check-in and boarding access
Accepted identification documents on our flights
Adults (18 years and older)
- Passport : original or certified copy
- French national ID card : original or certified copy
- French driver's license : original or certified copy
Documents accepted on an exceptional basis
Adults (18 years and older)
- Student ID from French Polynesia (with photo): original
- Air Moana company badge or CME (with photo): original
- Declaration of loss/theft of identification documents endorsed by the Police or Gendarmerie: original
- Receipt of request for renewal of identification document with a photocopy of the old one: original
- Identification card issued by the penitentiary authority (in custody under escort): original
- Identity certificate endorsed by the Police or Gendarmerie for a passenger under escort (arrest or detention warrant): original
- Foreign residence permit issued by the French State or the High Commissioner of the Republic (signed/stamped): original
Minors (2 to 17 years old)
- Passport : original or certified copy*
- French national ID card : original or certified copy*
- French driver's license : original or certified copy*
*A photo of the document on a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) is accepted.
Documents accepted on an exceptional basis
Minors (2 to 17 years old)
- Family booklet or birth certificate : original or certified copy
- CPS card : original*
- French maritime license : original or certified copy
- Student ID from French Polynesia (with photo) : original
- School transport card from French Polynesia : original
- Declaration of loss/theft of identification documents endorsed by the Police or Gendarmerie : original
- Receipt of request for renewal of identification document with a photocopy of the old one : original
- Identification card issued by the penitentiary authority (in custody under escort) : original
- Identity certificate endorsed by the Police or Gendarmerie for a passenger under escort (arrest or detention warrant) : original

*The CPS card is accepted for a minor or infant listed on the CPS card and accompanied at check-in by one of their parents or guardians who hold the CPS card. The parent or guardian must present a valid photo ID.
