Unsure about items to carry in the hold or cabin?
To ensure the safety of everyone on board, certain items are prohibited or restricted. Please consult the list below to obtain the necessary information to properly prepare your baggage.

Please note that this list is non-exhaustive and may be modified at any time. You must also comply with the regulations on dangerous goods established by airport authorities, civil aviation, and by IATA (International Air Transport Association).

Liquids and alcoholic beverages

1. Liquids, gels, and pastes. Restrictions apply for transport in the cabin: each container must not exceed 100 ml, and the products must be stored in a transparent, resealable plastic bag (maximum dimensions: 20 cm x 20 cm; maximum capacity: 1 liter).
For your information, certain types of liquids, such as baby food, prescribed medications, special dietary foods, and products purchased in duty-free shops (presented in a sealed bag with the receipt visible), are allowed without restriction.

2. Alcoholic beverages. Beverages exceeding 70% alcohol by volume are prohibited. For alcoholic beverages between 24% and 70% alcohol by volume, the limit is 5 liters maximum per person.

Sharp and blunt objects

Bladed weapons and any sharp, cutting, or blunt objects that could be used as a weapon.

Safety matches, lighters, electronic cigarettes, and vaporizers

1. Safety matches and lighters containing no unabsorbed liquid. Use on board is strictly prohibited.

2. All types of electronic cigarettes and vaporizers. These items must be turned off and stored in cases to prevent accidental activation. Use or charging on board is strictly prohibited.

Toiletries, aerosols, and non-radioactive medications

The items must not be flammable or toxic. The aerosol release valves must be protected by a cap or another appropriate means to prevent any leakage. The net quantity of each item must not exceed 0.5 kg or 0.5 L and must not exceed 2 kg or 2 L in total.

Mobility aids

1. Electric wheelchairs or other similar mobility aids equipped with lithium batteries specifically designed to be removed. The battery must be transported in the cabin.

1. Electronic devices powered by lithium batteries < 100 Wh. Devices containing lithium-metal batteries (<2g lithium) or lithium-ion batteries (<100 Wh). Examples include watches, tablets, smartphones, cameras, laptops, etc.

2. Spare batteries and external batteries (power banks) with lithium-metal (<2g lithium) or lithium-ion (<100 Wh). Used for devices such as cameras, laptops, drones, power banks, etc. Spare batteries must be separated from the devices.

3. Portable electronic devices powered by lithium-ion batteries between 100 Wh and 160 Wh. Examples include cameras, laptops, drones, etc. In the hold, devices must be turned off and protected from damage.

6. Portable electronic devices (PEDs) including medical devices such as portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) not exceeding 100 Wh.

1. Weapons intended for sport or hunting are allowed provided they meet the criteria listed on the Special Baggage page.

2. Cartridges for small arms are allowed provided they meet the criteria listed on the Special Baggage page. The cartridges must be securely packed. The quantity must not exceed 5 kg gross weight per person.

CO2 cartridges integrated into an inflatable safety device

The equipment must be packed in a way that prevents accidental activation. The gases contained must be non-flammable and non-toxic (Division 2.2).

Dry ice and carbon ice

Dry ice can be used for the preservation of non-hazardous perishable goods. The packaging must allow for the release of carbon dioxide. Packages must be labeled with the following: "DRY ICE" or "SOLID CARBON DIOXIDE." The maximum quantity must not exceed 2.5 kg per person.

Liquid nitrogen

Insulated packaging containing refrigerated liquid nitrogen, fully absorbed in a porous material containing only non-hazardous products.

Heat-Producing Devices

Items must be secured to prevent accidental activation. The battery and the heat-producing element must be separated. The battery must be protected against short circuits and comply with the conditions associated with battery transport.

Hairdressing equipment containing a hydrocarbon gas cartridge

Limited to one per person. The safety cover must be securely fitted over the heating element. This hairdressing equipment must not be used on board the aircraft. Spare gas cartridges for this equipment are not allowed in either checked baggage or cabin baggage.

Diving cylinders

The cylinders must be empty and must not have contained flammable or toxic gases.
