Booking
A reservation file reference is communicated to the Client when a reservation request is acknowledged.
Reservation requests can be made :
- Remotely :
- Air Moana provides an online booking tool available on the website www.airmoana.pf
- Remote sales agency
- At the counter, in a permanent or temporary Air Moana physical agency.
Certain special services cannot be booked online (e.g., "UM" service for an unaccompanied minor). For more information, please contact your agency or Air Moana's remote sales service.
The reservation file includes :
- Information regarding the reserved flights and their statuses: confirmed, on request, or on a waiting list

A confirmed reservation without payment does not guarantee the fare.
Rates
Prices are published inclusive of all taxes in Pacific Francs (XPF).
Special conditions may apply to certain fares. These conditions are available at your agency or on the Air Moana website.
Babies under 2 years old and children under 12 years old benefit from special reduced fares.
Fares to/from the island of Bora Bora include the cost of the maritime shuttle between the airport and the main island.
The fares communicated at the time of booking and before the issuance of tickets may be subject to subsequent changes by Air Moana at any time without notice.
Only the full payment of the fare excluding taxes and fees guarantees the applied fare.
Taxes and fees are collected when the tickets are issued and are remitted to the supervisory authorities responsible for determining their amount, application rules, and associated refunds.
Service fees
Service fees, the amounts and conditions of which are defined by Air Moana, may apply.
These fees are specified in writing on the quotes sent to you by email, in paper format, or on Air Moana’s online booking tool, in the case of reservations made on the Air Moana website.
Payment
Certain payment methods are subject to specific conditions.
The list of accepted payment methods is defined by Air Moana.
Checks are accepted as a payment method provided that they are submitted at least eight (8) working days before the departure date and are drawn from a bank account domiciled in French Polynesia.
Cash payments are accepted within the limits of current regulations and legal provisions.
Given the conditions associated with certain fares, a specific list of authorized payment methods may be established.
Issuance of passenger ticket
The passenger ticket can be issued at the Carrier's agency, through its Remote Sales service, or online according to the conditions defined by the Carrier.
An electronic ticket is issued upon full payment of the fare.
For technical reasons, a paper ticket may be issued in place of an electronic ticket.
Flight schedules
The schedules provided by Air Moana are subject to change at any time without notice; therefore, we recommend that you check with Air Moana or a travel agency the day before your trip.
Refund
1. Refund of the passenger ticket :
Certain specific fares are subject to special conditions.
For more information, contact your travel agency or your Air Moana agency.
In the case of partial use of the ticket, no refund will be granted for unused portions of the transport.
2. Refund of individual taxes and fees :
If your passenger ticket is no longer valid and has not been used for travel, you are entitled to a refund of the individual taxes and fees, the applicability of which is contingent upon your actual boarding.
To obtain a refund of these amounts, you can submit your refund request to your Air Moana agency.
For tickets purchased through a travel agency, a refund request must be made directly to that operator.
3. Refund of service fees :
The refund of service fees is not permitted.
Specific travel conditions
Specific travel conditions are defined for certain types of passengers or baggage.
Pregnant women whose pregnancy is progressing without complications can travel without specific formalities until the thirty-seventh (37th) week. After this date, the pregnant woman must provide a medical certificate issued within the last 24 hours, certifying a very low risk of imminent delivery. However, in all cases, Air Moana recommends consulting your doctor before departure. It is advisable to inform the sales agents of the pregnancy at the time of booking.
The infant fare (for children under 2 years old) does not entitle the child to a seat during the flight; the child must travel on the lap of one of their parents or an adult over 18 years old who is able and responsible. The accompanying adult can only be responsible for one child under two years old.
Persons with reduced mobility or those requiring specific assistance must inform Air Moana at the time of booking at least 48 hours before the departure of their flight. Air Moana may refuse transport for reasons related to safety requirements.
The transport of certain passengers requiring special assistance, animals, or baggage (whether in the cabin or in the hold) may be subject to a quota per flight in order to meet certain regulatory operational and safety standards.
