A high-level athlete and captain of Team OPT Va’a, Temoana Taputu is one of the leading figures of contemporary Polynesian va’a.
Accustomed to the Pacific’s biggest competitions, he excels in both marathon races and sprint events. In 2023, he notably won a gold medal in the V1 event at the Pacific Games.
